 I have voted twice in my life. 2004 when I had just turned 18, and in 2012. Both times I knew zip about any candidate or issue. I just voted the way my parents did. This will be the first time I have ever educated myself on the issues and candidates and will place an informed vote. I think controversial comments are marked by the ratio of upvotes and downvotes, not Reddit deciding its controversial. Unless of course you mean the downvotes. Then ignore my idiocy. This is why I phone bank & text bank as often as I have the free time. It's really easy, and if each person who does it can convince even a single other person to vote who otherwise wouldn't have, it was worth the effort.

 If someone shoots at you, you're pretty much free to do what you gotta do. For the most part it would be self defense, turning around and going for a second pass is not. Cut down a tree. Or two.  Oh, you should have been there the day after we used up the last of the chocolate ice cream, so people couldn't get the twist ice cream cone any more.So salty we didn't have to fill the shakers for the fries. The restaurants i stop coming to are because their food is bad, overpriced, or it takes forever. restaurants actually have a pretty low bar for "good enough". the tricky part is never providing a bad experience because that's when people leave and never come back. a decent restaurant that never fucks up will be far more profitable and enduring than a good restaurant that fucks up every now and then. I take some pride in making my plates look amazing, even though I know the food is mediocre or bland as fuck. But if it looks great, people will often look past its mediocrity.  He told me his sad story. He said that he came from a large family. He had three brothers and two sisters. His father had died when he was nine years old. His mother was poorly educated and worked two full time jobs. She made very little to support her large family.
