 Have you ever noticed that the people who complain about getting the shits from food are always making the complaint about fast food? They never mention it about homemade food. Homemade meals have more fiber than the fucking lettuce off of a fast food taco. Your assumption that it is the lettuce giving people the runs is flawed at best. It's the shitty quality food. Honestly there's too many variables to tie it to one thing. One of the more common complaints is that people get the hershey squirts almost immediately after eating (within 30 minutes), which they tend to blame on food quality. The problem is the body takes hours to process food normally. The actual culprit is the fact people are probably buying way too much food, and stuffing themselves in rather quick succession to the point where their body is forcing the previous meal through the intestines so they can make room for more food.

 Oh, you should have been there the day after we used up the last of the chocolate ice cream, so people couldn't get the twist ice cream cone any more.So salty we didn't have to fill the shakers for the fries. The restaurants i stop coming to are because their food is bad, overpriced, or it takes forever. restaurants actually have a pretty low bar for "good enough". the tricky part is never providing a bad experience because that's when people leave and never come back. a decent restaurant that never fucks up will be far more profitable and enduring than a good restaurant that fucks up every now and then.
