I would have gone and just grabbed some myself and said they can have these flowers, and specifically if they liked them they can take them to a flower shop to get more.

 Oh, you should have been there the day after we used up the last of the chocolate ice cream, so people couldn't get the twist ice cream cone any more.So salty we didn't have to fill the shakers for the fries.
