  I was only notably excited for 30 series cause I upgrade my hardware every other gen so my 1060 is due for a replacement soon. With that said I'm still waiting for aftermarket benchmarks and some of the hype to die off so I can get a card that's in stock.  if you're waiting for hype to die. i take a maybe 3 gen or so approach cause i really only care about maintaining a stable fps and visuals have never been a big deal for me cause performance > quality. i wait till my temps are an issue or i can't even play newer smaller-studio games. gamers nexus at least showed nuance here. they didn't even just say "don't buy this". they said "don't buy this cause it's SHINY and NEW" I'm sure there are some games out there pushing the limit harder than just simple Warzone and stuff these days, but until there's like a bunch of games I want to play that I have to tone the settings down on, my 1080 is fine.

 If someone shoots at you, you're pretty much free to do what you gotta do. For the most part it would be self defense, turning around and going for a second pass is not. Cut down a tree. Or two. Enough to block the road. Chainsaw. Ropes. A couple hours of work, and lots of sweat. And you need to be able to deploy the trees in a hurry, else passing drivers will see it and call the authorities. It's in the road are sitting there - so potentially many folks will see it and turn around before getting close enough. Again another opportunity to contact the authorities.  Oh, you should have been there the day after we used up the last of the chocolate ice cream, so people couldn't get the twist ice cream cone any more.So salty we didn't have to fill the shakers for the fries. The restaurants i stop coming to are because their food is bad, overpriced, or it takes forever. restaurants actually have a pretty low bar for "good enough". the tricky part is never providing a bad experience because that's when people leave and never come back. a decent restaurant that never fucks up will be far more profitable and enduring than a good restaurant that fucks up every now and then. I take some pride in making my plates look amazing, even though I know the food is mediocre or bland as fuck. But if it looks great, people will often look past its mediocrity.  I don't know if I'd just call it aging, but I played the same kinds of games for years in just new iterations and the last few I've totally moved on to different things. I think it's great though--I have a much broader view of what to play now. There’s really no reason not to claim them other than if you don’t want to take the time. But if you’re already on the app on your phone or on the Xbox it’s just a couple clicks. It's like the 3rd person shooting aspects of gta 4, the linear levels of the bad company 2 campaign, with a helping dose of British Monty Python humor. Not sure how well it has dated though, I haven't played it since its release, but I still laugh at some of the jokes. I played the division 1 for a a good amount of time.
