  I love to say hi for a minute, but I like my alone time too! At my last house, my neighbors came out to talk to me EVERY time I went to sit outside. I put up a screen to deflect the rain from my deck and it acted as a shield for me. I love my neighbors but the peace was soooo nice! My absolute favorite neighbor is like that. If we are both outside, she asks how I am, compliments my garden/holiday decorations, pets the dog etc. But within a few minutes, she goes back to her day! And when she sees I'm on my way out somewhere, I get a wave. No approach for a chat. Friendly, kind, and has boundaries - the ideal neighbor.

 Oh, you should have been there the day after we used up the last of the chocolate ice cream, so people couldn't get the twist ice cream cone any more.So salty we didn't have to fill the shakers for the fries. The restaurants i stop coming to are because their food is bad, overpriced, or it takes forever. restaurants actually have a pretty low bar for "good enough". the tricky part is never providing a bad experience because that's when people leave and never come back. a decent restaurant that never fucks up will be far more profitable and enduring than a good restaurant that fucks up every now and then.
