  It's better to just let the creators do their thing as much as possible, and sit back and collect the money for hosting the platform with as little work or moderation as possible. Credit card companies charge considerably higher merchant fees if a merchant is regularly getting a lot of chargebacks. You don't have to review everything, just hold the payment for 30 days so that 99% of the chargebacks that are going to happen have already happened.  That's not really correct. Youtube operates two copyright enforcement systems in parallel. One is its own system, content ID, and the other is the DMCA. The OPs video highlights incomplete information at the 4:00 mark, where YouTube could not tell him specific details on the infringing content, despite your link stating "2. A description of your work that you believe has been infringed" is required when making a claim.  I recently got some self-harm scars on my arm tattooed and I haven’t looked back since. It feels like a new chapter not only for myself but definitely how people view me.  I thought the belief was that you could tell if a signature was being replicated if the duplicate was using a high-flow pen which would cause a build up of ink or odd blip whenever the pen stopped moving to check the curve. Whereas, the authentic signature can be done in one smooth motion. I suppose its all moot if the person doing the duplicate simply practices over and over and can replicate the curves in a clean single pass. My writing is hardly ever done in a smooth motion, even my signature. My husband took the time to write his whole name out and mine looks like a bunch of loopy loops, so I win, I think. I had a stamp made for the printed version of my name. I have a long first and long last name. For a few years, I witnessed wills and various other estate planning docs that required lots of both signing and printing your full name. I love my name stamp. Reminds me of a reddit post from a few years ago, where a pair of roommates used more and more obvious forms of "faking" their signature, in an attempt to get called out on it.  Electronic signatures are not meant to mimic your real signature. Finding the right font isn't security. Those are authenticated in other ways.  I'm not sure why they did that. Maybe there's a legal requirement they had to follow? Sounds strange but I assume they know what they're doing. I learned that having an elaborate signature is very difficult as an adult. Two extra seconds seems like nothing, until you're signing a massive pile of mortgage papers and it takes three times longer than it should. My signature out of high school was fancy and cool looking. My signature in my forties is my first initial followed by a wiggly scribble.  Thankfully when I sign electronic notes at work I can just do initials. So much easier to do on a touch screen instead of a real signature. When I went to the notary (for my dad's heritage) I noticed her signature was really short and quick. It makes sense given her whole job is to sign legal documents all day. When I bought my house they didn't let me use my regular signature. They said I had to sign with my middle initial. But my signature doesn't contain my middle initial. So that wasn't my signature. But I have to pick my battles so I just did as I was told.  I have a really long first name/last name combo, so when I got older and actually had to sign stuff, I changed my signature to my 4 initials. It easy and fast! My boss’s signature used to just be 2 initials and a circle around them...but he did it the same way every time. My old bosses signature was just a single scribble. Not a lot, not an actual scribble, just a plain horizontal line with like 2 or 3 ups and downs. But he did it THE SAME WAY every time. I once had a paycheck that bounced because the secretary had run out of pre-signed checks and copied it herself.  I always wonder on those "write your full name and signature" forms, isn't your handwritten full name the signature itself?  My understanding of this is to print my name legibly and then sign it the way I normally do (in cursive and much less legibly... But it's consistent). Yes, your signature is the identifying thing, but they still need to be able to read your name. I'm actually a teacher, and I had the sponsor of one of the clubs on campus come by my room a while back to double check that the signature on a student's field trip form was really mine. I have a “teacher signature” for hall passes that’s literally scribble.  This is the exact opposite of how signatures work though! The entire point is that it's your signature that you do every time! Society: We should each develop a personalised mark that is hard for others to copy and easy for you to replicate, so you can always verify if you agreed to something. Okay this is my personalised mark. It is on every official document I own, thus providing physical backing to its legitimacy. I have two signatures for this reason. I'm not a notary but I have a job where I occasionally have to sign things that also have to be clearly legible, for legal reasons.  There's some Reddit post where a guy used to draw his signature as 3 cats, because he found it funny... and then he bought a house and had to draw the exact same 3 cats, over and over again, across many pages of mortgage contracts. I worked at a restaurant for a while and we had to sign every open container of food, coffee, TIL registry, anything. I changed my signature because it was actually too long. I got my notary license a few years ago and they rejected my signature because it wasn’t legible.
